Not been in for sometime but entries for this one opened on the 1st July 2012 and sold out in 10 days this years race is on the 3rd November... 200 entered and 26 waiting on reserved list.. great response for a race in only its second year...

Just a wee thank you to Bill and Mike for an excellent race.....great scenery, weather was ideal for running. Bumped into a fellow MDS 2013 starter, Alasdair Macleod (the OMM 32 backpack gave it away) about 3 miles from the finish so we had a good chat about our upcoming desert adventure. I look forward to next years Glen Ogle 33....really need a finishers medal though guys (even if it does bump up the entry price a bit)

Hi Colin... Glad you enjoyed it.. We put the race on as a cheap and cheerful end of season race for beer and a chat with old and new friends. We have had a couple of people ask about medals and we will be looking into it in the new year.. But in the meantime next years race will be 2nd November 2013..

Cheers Bill, not a criticism about the medal, I guess you just get used to getting one when you finish a race. Loved the informal, friendly atmosphere of the whole thing.

Argghhh, the 2nd of November, my wifes birthday...managed to get away with it this year by being out by a day (and rushing back home to go out for dinner in Edinburgh), will seriously need to get in her good books to get it by her 'on' her birthday
