I've been looking at some of the UK ultra races including the new Round the Rock in Jersey for next year in preparation for the 2013 MdS. What other races have people done before in training for it? Anyone else looking at any good ones?

I'm a student at a typical university with a less than typical goal; to trek 100 miles in the Moroccan Sahara Desert within 5 days for the charity Freedom from Torture. With temperatures averaging 50 Degrees Celsius during the day and 28 Degrees Celsius at night you wouldn't be wrong to say this is a crazy idea.
I am doing this trek in order to support the magnificent work the charity does for those who have been affected by torture and organised violence.
